The Plough Shear Mixer operates using specially designed plough-shaped mixing elements mounted on a horizontal shaft rotating inside a cylindrical vessel. As the shaft rotates, the plough tools create a three-dimensional fluidized mixing zone where materials are continuously lifted, dispersed, and reintroduced into the mixing stream.

This intense mechanical action ensures rapid homogenization, efficient particle movement, and uniform distribution of additives throughout the batch.

Optional high-speed choppers can be integrated into the system for breaking lumps, dispersing fibers, and improving mixing quality in cohesive or difficult materials.
