ABOUT THE MACHINE
The machine operates using two independent shafts working together inside the same vessel.
The high-speed shaft is fitted with a cowl disk impeller that generates intense shear forces for rapid dispersion, wetting, and particle breakdown. Simultaneously, the slow-speed anchor shaft continuously circulates the material, preventing dead zones and ensuring uniform mixing throughout the batch.
The anchor arm also performs wall-scraping action, improving heat transfer and reducing material buildup on vessel surfaces.
The hydraulic lifting system enables smooth raising and lowering of the mixing assembly, allowing easy vessel positioning, tank movement, and simplified batch handling during operation.

The Chem Maco Twin Shaft Disperser is also available in a Concentric Reactor Type configuration featuring a central high-speed dispersing shaft integrated within a slow-speed anchor agitator system.
The concentric shaft arrangement enables simultaneous high shear dispersion and continuous material circulation within the same processing zone, making it highly effective for high viscosity products requiring uniform mixing and controlled batch homogenization.
The central high-speed shaft is provided with hydraulic lifting for easy vessel handling, simplified maintenance, and smooth batch operation. The slow-speed anchor agitator continuously sweeps the vessel walls to prevent material buildup and improve heat transfer efficiency.
This configuration is widely used for paints, coatings, resins, adhesives, emulsions, construction chemicals, and specialty high viscosity processing applications requiring stable dispersion quality and efficient reactor-style mixing performance.
DOUBLE SIDED TWIN SHAFT DISPERSER CONFIGURATION
For higher production throughput and reduced batch downtime, the Chem Maco Twin Shaft Disperser is also available in a Double Sided Twin Shaft configuration. In this arrangement, two independent processing stations are integrated into a single heavy-duty machine structure, allowing operation on two separate vessels alternately or simultaneously depending on process requirements.
The system is designed to improve production efficiency by minimizing idle time during vessel loading, unloading, cleaning, and batch changeover operations. While one vessel remains under processing, the second station can be prepared for the next batch, significantly improving overall plant productivity and operational flexibility.
Each side is equipped with a high-speed dispersing shaft and slow-speed anchor agitator for efficient high viscosity mixing, pigment dispersion, and uniform material circulation. The hydraulic lifting arrangement enables smooth vessel movement and easy handling across both processing stations.
The Double Sided Twin Shaft Disperser is particularly suitable for paint, coating, adhesive, construction chemical, and specialty chemical industries where continuous batch rotation, higher output capacity, and faster production cycles are critical to operational efficiency.
