The Vertical Sand Mill operates using a high-speed vertical shaft fitted with grinding discs inside a media-filled grinding chamber. As the shaft rotates at high RPM, the grinding media generates intense shear and impact forces that continuously reduce particle size and break agglomerates.

Material is fed continuously into the grinding chamber where it circulates through the grinding zone and exits after achieving the required dispersion quality. The vertical chamber design provides efficient media movement, better energy transfer, and stable grinding performance during continuous operation.

The jacketed grinding chamber helps maintain controlled operating temperature during extended production cycles.
